Program Transfer Policy
2011-2012 School Year
If you plan to transfer from your current program to another program at Brewster, please take the following steps so that our student services and financial aid departments may assist:
- Inform your present instructor you are considering the transfer.
- See the program advisor for the new program to determine what eligibility criteria you need to meet and for the next start date.
- See Ms. Aponte or Ms. Hancock in financial aid to determine your financial aid status for the new program:
- If you are a Pell eligible student transferring to a 600 + hour program, you may continue to earn Pell.
- There will be a new calculation based on the number of hours of the new program and your start date.
Transferring to a different school:
- If you plan to transfer to a different school within the same award year, see Ms. Aponte or Ms. Llorente so that we can assist in adding a new school to your FAFSA.
