Residency Requirements

Legal Residency Requires Two Documents for Proof

Florida Statutes: Title XLVIII K-20 Education Code: 1009.21

Must have at Least one (1) of the documents listed below:

  1. Florida Voter's Registration Card
  2. Florida Driver's License
  3. Florida Identification Card
  4. Florida Vehicle Registration
  5. Proof of Permanent Home Occupied by Independent Student or by Dependent Student's Parents
  6. Proof of Florida Homestead Exemption
  7. Florida High School Transcripts for multiple years(if Diploma or GED earned within 12 months)
  8. Proof of a permanent full-time employment in Florida for at least 30hrs per week for a 12-month period

May include (1) of the documents listed below:

  1. Declaration of Domicile in Florida
  2. Florida professional or occupational license
  3. Florida incorporation
  4. Document showing family ties in Florida
  5. Florida professional license
  6. Proof of membership in a Florida-base charitable or professional organization
