What is the Ready to Work Credential?
The Ready to Work Credential Program is an opportunity for job applicants in Florida to demonstrate to employers that they possess the skills needed to succeed in the workplace. A student or resident who has earned a Ready to Work Credential will be considered equipped with the skills needed to enter the workforce. This credential is awarded by the state of Florida to anyone who has successfully passed designated assessments.
Who is eligible to earn a Ready to Work Credential?
Any student or resident in the state of Florida is eligible to earn this credential.
What assessments are required to earn a Ready to Work Credential?
Mastery of three (3) WorkKeys assessments must be demontrated* Reading of Information* Applied Mathematics
* Locating Information
What are the three levels of the Florida's Ready to Work Credential?
* BRONZE minimum score of 3 or more on all three assessments* SILVER minimum score of 4 or more on all three assessments
* GOLD minimum score of 5 or more on all three assessments
What is the process for earning a Ready to Work Credentials?
* Sign up at a participating assessment center:

* Enroll in self-paced tutorial course work if needed.
* Complete the WorkKeys assessments.
* Receive a Ready to Work Credential, signed by the Govenor, once mastery level expectations have been achieved.
