Employability Skills Training Program
The Employment Training Program is designed to help integrate adults with special needs into the community. The program is open to individuals who, with support, have the potential to succeed in the workplace and learn skills to live independently. The focus of the classroom is on employability, life management, social skills, interpersonal skills, and job retention. The on-the-job training component relies heavily on job development and individual job placement.
Program Length: 1 year
Merchandise Handler Training Program
The Merchandise Handler Training Program is a business-based program for adults with special needs. Training locations are at Macy's in Brandon, Citrus Town Centre, University, and Westshore Plaza. The focus of this program is to teach job skills at actual employment sites. Students are given the opportunity to be trained in areas of merchandise handling, shipping, and receiving. The School District of Hillsborough County in partnership with Macy's Stores sponsor this non-paid training.
Program Length: 1 year
Custodial Maintenance Training
The Custodial Maintenance Training Program is designed to prepare adults with special needs for entry-level positions into various custodial careers. During the training each student will participate in an internship with the school district or one of the local private companies working with the Custodial Program.

Culinary Preparation
The Culinary Operations Program prepares students for entry-level positions into various culinary careers. During the training each student will participate in an internship with the school district.
Program Length: 1 year
Enrollment Requirements:
Provision of a documented disability and 18 years or older.
